Bulls
TARRAWARRA AUSTRALIS (AI)
At 17 months of age this young bull was described by OFC Judge Ross Canning as a “thick, heavy muscled bull”.
His sire is the many times Royal Show Champion, Yarra Ranges Jackaroo and his dam is an exceptional cow by Nhilldandee Cruser out of Southern Cross Aspire. Aussie’s muscling has to be seen to be believed, his calves show the same exceptional muscle pattern.
TARRAWARRA BARAK (AI)
This young bull is exceptional, he has amazing length and muscling. His growth rate has been outstanding and he has fantastic leg and feet structure with a great topline and shoulder.
His sire Ardrossan Jamberoo was exported to the USA where he has been a very popular and prodigious sire. A heifer sired by Jamberoo won the Grand Champion at the National Western Stock Show in Denver 2012 and Jamberoo's sire Neron, also sired the Grand Champion 2 years earlier. Barak's Dam ARDE413 is our best cow, very feminine with high milk production and she consistently produces exceptional bull calves.
TARRAWARRA CALYPSO
Calypso is a bull with a big future. His sire Ardrossan Vitriot was a big framed bull weighing 780kg (on grass) at the time of his death in 2015. All our Vitriot progeny have inherited his huge capacity and volume. Calypso is a big upstanding young bull with a wonderful temperament and we are seriously excited about his prospects as a herd sire
TARRAWARRA ECLIPSE (AI)
Eclipse is a big bull and all power. He is magnificent, has amazing muscling and moves extremely well for a bull of his size. His progeny were shown for the first time at Royal Melbourne Show 2019 for Junior Champion Heifer, Tarrawarra Harmony, with Tarrawarra Halcyon taking out Junior Champion Bull and Grand Champion Bull. At Canberra Royal 2020 his two sons were very successful, Tarrawarra Harry won Junior Champion Bull & Tarrawarra Hughsie Reserve Junior Champion Bull
TARRAWARRA ILLUSTRIOUS (TANK)
Tank is an exceptional young bull calf out of Supreme Champion Lowline Royal Melbourne Show 2019 Tarrawarra Faith. Tank was on his mother at the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show. The Judge Tom Isedale commented, "I love the body ... the udder on her and the calf behind her is only three months of age and that's an absolutely outstanding calf, a calf that's going to have a big future and that's what we like to see - cows that can produce equal to or better than themselves"
